Eddie Kingston To Undergo Surgery

Following his loss to Gabe Kidd in a No Rope Last Man Standing match at NJPW Resurgence, Eddie Kingston found himself in a confrontation with Jack Perry, which quickly escalated when The Young Bucks launched a surprise attack. The AEW EVPs utilized the EVP trigger to take down Kingston.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that Eddie Kingston suffered a torn ACL and meniscus on top of a tibular fracture. He will need to get surgery and is likely out of action for close to a year.

“This part of the game. Injuries happen. I will be back,” Kingston told PWI.

Darby Allin will step in to replace Kingston and join forces with Bryan Danielson and FTR to take on The Elite in an Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing 2024 this Saturday.
