AEW Name Rules Out In-Ring Return

Taz had his final WWE match in 2002, where he teamed with Rikishi to take on Billy & Chuck at a WWE SmackDown house show. However, he did do a one-minute match against Jerry Lawler four years later at ECW One Night Stand, beating Jerry Lawler. However, fans shouldn’t expect to see the AEW announcer return to in-ring action. He wrote the following on Twitter:

“I’m 56 years old, I need both shoulders replaced and both knees replaced so there is no shot at all. lol.

“Also, I had/have ZERO desire for “1 last match” for many years. No interest at all, once I left the ring years ago…I have been completely comfortable & happy about it. Back then, I focused moving onto my next career at the announced desk.”
