AEW’s Tony Schiavone Explains Why He Will Not Watch ‘Who Killed WCW?’

AEW

On Tuesday night, the new docuseries by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions team, delving into the rise and fall of WCW, made its premiere. This project, titled “Who Killed WCW?”, was executively produced by Johnson and Dany Garcia.

On the latest episode of the “WHW” podcast, Tony Schiavone discussed a wide range of topics including why he won’t watch that.

“I have watched some of the ‘Dark Side of the Ring,’ but I won’t watch that,” Schiavone said. “Because I know what it is — it’s a hatchet job. I see these people talking to the camera in ‘Dark Side of the Ring,’ and I’m going, ‘What are we doing?’” Schiavone continued. “Have some freaking respect for the business that paid you a lot of money.” [H/T Wrestling Inc.]
