Bryan Danielson: “My Neck Isn’t Doing So Great Right Now”

Lee South Bryan Danielson vs Kazuchika Okada Toronto, ON AEW Forbidden Door June 25, 2023

Bryan Danielson vs. Shingo Takagi in an Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Quarterfinal will take place at this Sunday’s AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view event from the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Danielson discussed the status of his neck.

“My neck isn’t doing so great right now,” Bryan Danielson said. “This is my chance to wrestle Shingo again, and Forbidden Door is one of my favorite pay-per-views. That’s because of the uniqueness of it. Five years ago, multiple promotions didn’t work together to put on a super show. Now CMLL and Stardom are involved. This didn’t exist before. I love this show.”
