MJF kicked off Saturday’s AEW Collision to address his heel turn on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, where he laid out Daniel Garcia.
This is where he said he wasn’t trying to hurt Garcia because he never planned on actually wrestling Garcia at Wembley Stadium as he was planning to break his neck. MJF said that the fans turned their backs on him as they cheered Samoa Joe after he dropped the World Title at Worlds End.
MJF said that because they embraced wrestlers like Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay, he’s going to take out everything they love before stating Ospreay only cares about ratings from a guy named Meltzer. For MJF, he only cares about ratings from a guy named Nielsen.
