Major League Wrestling (“MLW”) today announced Okumura vs. Ikuro Kwon at the beIN SPORTS TV taping portion of Lucha Apocalypto from Cicero Stadium in Chicago on Saturday, November 9.

Fueled by a need for retribution, Okumura is ready to clash with Kwon after the fierce CONTRA operative joined forces with Minoru Suzuki this past summer to defeat Okumura and his tag team partner, Satoshi Kojima, of the MLW World Tag Team Titles.
Known for his long-standing success in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Okumura has made waves since joining MLW and has brought unparalleled skill and experience as a proud member of CozyMAX, alongside MLW World Heavyweight Champion Satoshi Kojima. But this time, Okumura will be standing alone, driven by vengeance and a deep commitment to get payback in a grudge match that promises to be nothing short of an all-out war.
Ikuro Kwon, a chilling and ruthless solider for CONTRA Unit, has terrorized opponents since resurfacing earlier this year. Known as one of the most enigmatic fighters on the roster, Kwon carries out his mission with fierce precision, fighting not only to defeat but to completely dismantle his opponents. Known for his martial arts expertise and deadly strikes, Kwon embodies the CONTRA ethos, embracing chaos and always leaving destruction in his wake. This November, he returns to defend CONTRA’s dominance, aiming to quash any semblance of resistance from Okumura.

An institution in fighting for decades, Cicero Stadium is conveniently located 8 miles from downtown Chicago and very close to the Pink Line. You can get to it from both Interstate Highways 290 and 55.
There is stadium seating, which means there is virtually no bad seat in the stadium.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Interstate 290, take the Laramie exit heading South and travel 6 blocks. The Stadium will be on the left and you can find parking both North and South of the venue for only $5. From Interstate 55, take the Cicero exit and head north until 22nd Street. Take a left and then a right on S. Laramie Ave. Travel three blocks to Cicero Stadium and parking is both north and south of the venue for $5.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Take the CTA Pink Line to the last stop (54th/Cermak) going South. The station is located between 54th Avenue and Laramie Avenue, just north of Cermak Rd. Walk two blocks north and you’re at the Stadium.
