Eric Bischoff Talks Plans For Surprise Wrestling Return

AEW

Eric Bischoff discussed being part of the December 5th MLW-One Shot event. He said this on his 83 Weeks podcast.

“We’re actually having our first official creative morning tomorrow morning to take a look at the format, take a look at what we’re planning on doing right now, and then we’re gonna work together and I’m gonna sprinkle some Bischoff dust on it.

I’d like to — I’ve already been thinking about the cold open,” Eric Bischoff said. “Opens are a part of the program now that, sometimes at very best they’re serviceable, but in my opinion, show opens are missing the boat by a mile.

“There’s a lot of opportunity to pre-sell your audience on the show before it even starts but you got to set it up right. Capture their imagination and get their interest right off the bat. So I want to do that. I want to take a close look at how they’re doing their backstage promos or any of their in-ring promos because there’s different ways to do that.”
