Chris Jericho is set to defend his ROH World Title against Matt Cardona at ROH Final Battle on December 20th.
On Saturday night, Jericho made a surprise appearance at GCW’s Highest in the Room 3 event, where he attacked Matt Cardona and EFFY during their match. As the match unfolded, a hooded figure entered the ring and attacked Cardona with a baseball bat, leading to EFFY pinning Cardona for the win.
However, the mystery man then turned on EFFY, revealing himself as Jericho, who was wearing an AEW shirt.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Jericho discussed Cardona.
