AEW icon Chris Jericho unveiled his personal Mount Rushmore of wrestling, naming Ricky Steamboat, Shawn Michaels, and the late Owen Hart as his primary inspirations.
Speaking at Horror, Rock & Wrestle Fest 2025, Jericho explained these three were pivotal in his desire to enter the business. For the fourth, rotating spot, Jericho considered both Bret Hart and “Macho Man” Randy Savage, expressing regret at never having wrestled either. “I mean, the fourth is kind of rotating. Obviously, I love Bret Hart… I never wrestled Owen Hart… never got to wrestle with Bret, and I never got to wrestle Macho Man. I fu**ing love Randy Savage. I might put him in there, in that fourth spot as well.”
Jericho emphasized that his choices were based on stars who influenced him early in his career, possessing athleticism, strong characters, and mic skills.
