The highly anticipated AEW Grand Slam Mexico event, scheduled for Wednesday, June 18th, at the legendary Arena Mexico in Mexico City, has already reached full capacity. While there remains a possibility of additional seats being released closer to the date as production logistics are finalized, currently, no tickets are available for the event.
Adding to the excitement of AEW’s inaugural foray into Mexico, two other significant wrestling events featuring AEW talent are slated to take place at Arena Mexico during the same week. Arena Mexico, the historic home of Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) for decades, will host:
- Tuesday, June 17th: A special CMLL versus AEW and Ring of Honor (ROH) event, promising inter-promotional matchups.
- Friday, June 20th: The CMLL Fantastica Mania card, a collaborative show featuring wrestlers from CMLL, AEW, ROH, New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), and the United Kingdom’s Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro). The announced main event showcases a compelling six-man tag team match: Shingo Takagi, Hiromu Takahashi, and Titan facing off against Templario, TJP, and Francesco Akira.
The Wednesday Grand Slam Mexico event will be broadcast live as a special episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS and the streaming service Max, marking a historic moment as the first-ever AEW episode to originate from Mexican soil.
