Hangman Page Survives Fletcher, Advances to Owen Hart Tournament Final

Lee South Hangman Adam Page vs Swerve Strickland Phoenix, AZ AEW Dynamite February 7, 2024

The main event of the April 30th edition of AEW Dynamite determined the final competitor for the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Final. In a hard-fought semi-final bout, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page clashed with Kyle Fletcher.

The closing moments saw high drama as Fletcher hit Page with a low blow followed by a brainbuster for a very close near fall. However, Page managed to recover, hitting Fletcher first with a Buckshot Lariat from the corner, and then quickly following up with his standard Buckshot Lariat to secure the pinfall victory.

With this crucial win, Hangman Page now advances to AEW Double or Nothing on May 25th. There, he will face the formidable Will Ospreay in the finals of the 2025 Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, with the winner earning a future AEW World Championship match at All In: Texas.
