AEW star Will Ospreay has boldly declared All Elite Wrestling’s roster superior to WWE’s, stating AEW “smokes them in every field of wrestling.” His strong comments came during a recent interview when asked about WWE NXT Battleground potentially running opposite AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
“We smoke them in every field of wrestling,” Ospreay asserted. “Mate, we’re just better.”
While expressing respect for individual WWE talents like GUNTHER, Randy Orton, and Chad Gable, calling them “vets” who are “great at their job,” Ospreay maintained AEW’s overall dominance. “But we are so much more of a better wrestling company than them,” he continued. “Our guys smoke them every single day of the week… on our worst day, we smoke all of you guys.” Ospreay’s confident claims are sure to fuel the ongoing debate between fans of the rival promotions.
