During the live recording of his “My World” podcast, Jeff Jarrett reacted in real-time to the breaking news that recently released WWE Superstar Braun Strowman is set to star in a new WWE-produced food series on the USA Network this fall. Jarrett found the development “interesting” from a business perspective.
Upon hearing the news that “Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman” was announced at the NBC Upfronts despite Strowman’s recent WWE departure, Jarrett immediately pondered the contractual implications. “Hey, man, I know you gotta be thinking, hm, I the show, love the format, love the concept, but he was just a part of that release,” Jarrett mused. “So can he wrestle for other organizations and still being appearing on Peacock [or USA Network via WWE production]? I guess he can. Interesting. That’s that, wouldn’t you say that’s an interesting development, Conrad, from a business from a TKO Peacock relationship circumstance or No?”
Jarrett clearly saw the potential for this unique arrangement. He commented on Strowman’s suitability for such a show, given his persona: “Brawns got a loud personality, boisterous. I hope he’s got a hell of an appetite… This kind of thing could really parlay him into Oh man. Joey Chestnut, watch out. Braun Strowman is on the way.” He added, “He’s got the charisma. He knows how to get the crowd. It’s yeah, it’s engagement.”
