One of professional wrestling’s most legendary modern rivalries is set to be renewed as AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada will face AEW International Champion Kenny Omega in a “‘winner takes all’ double title match” at AEW All In: Texas. The blockbuster announcement was made during the June 4, 2025, “Fyter Fest” special.
This championship unification bout at All In on Saturday, July 12th, will be the first singles match between Omega and Okada since their epic two-out-of-three falls contest at NJPW Dominion in June 2018, a match many WWE fans and critics consider one of the greatest of all time. On “Fyter Fest,” Omega retained his International title in a four-way match, after which Okada came to the ring for a tense confrontation. After both champions posed with their respective titles, Tony Schiavone officially announced the “winner takes all” stipulation on behalf of AEW President Tony Khan, with a contract signing scheduled for next week.
Their NJPW history includes a famed series of matches in 2017: Okada won at Wrestle Kingdom 11, they wrestled to a 60-minute draw at Dominion, and Omega then defeated Okada in the G1 Climax tournament. This upcoming clash joins an already stacked All In: Texas card, which includes Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Title against “Hangman” Adam Page, and Toni Storm defending the AEW Women’s World Title against Mercedes Moné.
