“Speedball” Mike Bailey has confirmed he is with AEW for the foreseeable future and plans to be a key part of the company’s growth. The recently signed star has quickly become a fixture on AEW programming.
In a conversation with PWInsider, Bailey expressed his desire to grow alongside the promotion, indicating he has signed a long-term deal.
“I’m going to be spending a long time with AEW,” Bailey said. “I want to grow alongside AEW and help AEW grow as it helps me.”
Bailey also commented on the magnitude of AEW’s upcoming stadium shows, Grand Slam: Mexico at the historic Arena México and All In: Texas. He highlighted the significance of these events for the entire professional wrestling industry.
“I think Arena México is absolutely huge,” he said. “All In is going to be one of the biggest pro wrestling events of all time.”
Bailey recently competed at AEW’s Summer Blockbuster event, where he was on the losing end of a six-man tag team match against The Hurt Syndicate. His comments affirm his focus is on his future with the company.
