Nic Nemeth Doubts Hangman Page Will Win AEW World Title At All In

Lee South Hangman Adam Page vs Swerve Strickland Phoenix, AZ AEW Dynamite February 7, 2024

Nic Nemeth weighed in on the upcoming AEW World Championship match between champion Jon Moxley and “Hangman” Adam Page, expressing doubt that Page will win the title. The match is set for AEW All In: Texas on July 12.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Nemeth praised Page’s connection with the fans and his character work.

“I know the connection he has with the fans. I know he’s been there since day one. I know that his story arc has gone up and down and all over the place, and he has delivered every time,” Nemeth said. “I really like his character work” (per Fightful).

Despite the praise, Nemeth is unsure if Page will come out on top.

“I think he’s doing everything you possibly can to say, this is the guy and have the connection with the crowd too. I just don’t know if they’re going to do it,” Nemeth continued. “There’s something in the back of my head that it feels like it’s WWE style where it’s like, ‘Yeah, this seems like the guy, but is [Tony Khan] going to pull the trigger here?’ I don’t know” (per Fightful).
