According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are rumors of WWE being interested in top CMLL star Místico. The interest has reportedly been amplified following Místico’s appearance at the AEW Grand Slam: Mexico event on June 18.
The report states that while Místico would be WWE’s primary target if they were to recruit from CMLL, the company has not yet made any moves to pursue him. It also noted that any potential efforts to sign CMLL talent would likely not begin until after August.
Místico, who is currently the top babyface for a surging CMLL, previously worked for WWE as Sin Cara from 2011 to 2014.
