Colt Cabana made a surprise return to AEW programming on Saturday’s episode of Collision, joining the commentary team for the first portion of the show. His return was cut short by a violent attack.
The Jon Moxley-led faction, the Death Riders, emerged from the crowd and brutally assaulted Cabana at the announce desk. The group beat him down, busted him open, and Moxley hung him over the top rope with a steel chain.
This marked Cabana’s first appearance on AEW television in over a year.
