New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced several matches for its upcoming Road to Destruction tour in September.
On September 13, Hiroshi Tanahashi, El Desperado, and Ryusuke Taguchi will challenge Toru Yano, YOH, and Master Wato for the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championships.
On September 15, Tanahashi, El Desperado, and Taguchi will team up again to face the trio of Toru Yano, Togi Makabe, and Tomoaki Honma.
The tour concludes on September 24 with two major championship matches. El Desperado will defend his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against YOH. Also, the Ichiban Sweet Boys (Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita) will challenge SHO & DOUKI for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. The final night will also feature Hiroshi Tanahashi taking on Master Wato as part of Tanahashi’s final road retirement tour.
