AEW’s Willow Nightingale has voiced her support for the women’s division to be featured in the company’s signature Blood and Guts match. In a new interview with Blavity, the former TBS Champion spoke about the identity of the women’s roster.
“But I feel like we have our own unique identity, and I really do think a Blood And Guts type match is a part of that. I think we love bearing that. I think we love the viscerality of that, so it’s about time if something like that does happen.”
She also spoke about being proud of her involvement in intergender matches in AEW.
“It’s something that I wear with pride to be one of the people that really helped push the boundaries.”
