A new report from Fightful Select has provided an update on the status of Chris Jericho. While there has been much speculation about a potential WWE return when his AEW contract expires, WWE sources have reportedly “pumped the breaks” on that talk.
The report notes that while Jericho is still under contract with AEW through 2025, there are currently no creative plans for him in that company either. His last appearance was in April. WWE sources indicated that Jericho’s name has not come up in creative talks, and that it is “far too early to tell” what his future holds, though he remains on good terms with WWE.
