Following the August 27 episode of AEW Dynamite at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, commentator and ECW legend Taz was surprised with the announcement that he will be inducted into the venue’s Hardcore Hall of Fame.
After the show went off the air, AEW President Tony Khan came to the ring and informed Taz of the honor in a moment arranged by AEW officials. The AEW roster, along with Taz’s wife and his son HOOK, came out to celebrate with him. It was also announced that a tribute to Taz and the official raising of his Hall of Fame banner will take place on the August 30 episode of AEW Collision.
