Spoilers For Upcoming Ring Of Honor Television Tapings

Ring of Honor taped several matches before and after the live AEW Collision broadcast on Saturday, August 30, from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. The matches will air on upcoming episodes of ROH on HonorClub. The tapings featured the start of the ROH Women’s Pure Championship Tournament and a shocking attack on the ROH World Champion.

During the pre-show taping, Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari introduced a new female associate as their “contingency plan” who helped them secure a victory. After the Collision broadcast ended, the Women’s Pure Championship Tournament began with two first-round matches. Deonna Purrazzo defeated Rachael Ellering, and Trish Adora defeated Ashley Vox to advance.

The night ended with a major angle. After ROH World Champion Bandido defeated Lee Johnson in a non-championship Proving Ground match, Blake Christian attacked the champion. Christian laid out Bandido with a Lethal Injection and stood over him, holding the ROH World Championship belt to signal his title aspirations. The attack prompted Hologram, The Blue Meanie, and Tomohiro Ishii to run in and make the save for Bandido. The Blue Meanie then gave a speech to the Philadelphia crowd to close the tapings.
