New Segment Added To Saturday’s Live AEW Collision Episode

AEW

A new segment has been added to the lineup for this Saturday’s live episode of AEW Collision on September 6. AEW has announced that the reigning TNT Champion, Kyle Fletcher, and his manager, Don Callis, will speak on the show. This appearance comes just days after their faction was involved in a brutal post-match attack on Kenny Omega at the end of the September 3 episode of AEW Dynamite. On that show, Fletcher, alongside his Don Callis Family stablemate Josh Alexander and The Young Bucks, was victorious in a massive eight-man tag team main event against Omega, “Hangman” Adam Page, and JetSpeed.

Following their victory, Fletcher laid out Page with a brainbuster on a steel chair before turning his attention to Omega. Fletcher then delivered a devastating brainbuster to Omega from the ring apron through a table on the floor, leading to Omega being stretchered out of the arena. The angle was designed to write Omega off of television. He has since posted on social media, clarifying that he is not taking “time off” but will be attending “specialized hospital visits and work that had been planned for a year.” Fletcher and Callis are expected to address their actions and the status of the Don Callis Family on Saturday’s show.

The updated lineup for AEW Collision on Saturday, September 6 is below:

  • Jon Moxley vs. Daniel Garcia
  • Mark Briscoe vs. Konosuke Takeshita
  • All Star Eight-Woman Tag Team Match: Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, Kris Statlander & Harley Cameron vs. Megan Bayne, Thekla, Julia Hart & Skye Blue
  • FTR vs. Adam Priest & Tommy Billington
  • TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis to speak
