The viewership numbers for the Wednesday, September 10 episode of AEW Dynamite have been released by Wrestlenomics. The show, which was the third of AEW’s residency at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, saw a significant rebound from the previous week’s historic low. The episode averaged 584,000 viewers on TBS, which is a 23.7 percent increase from the 472,000 viewers of the September 3 episode. Despite the large increase, this is still tied for the third-lowest total audience the show has done since May 21 of this year, indicating that the program’s viewership is still in a slump compared to its usual numbers.
The show also saw an increase in the key 18-49 demographic, drawing a 0.13 rating. This is up 18.2 percent from last week’s 0.11, but it still ties the second-lowest rating the show has ever achieved in its regular Wednesday night time slot. The episode did not face any major sports competition during the night. When compared to the same week in 2024, Dynamite’s overall viewership was down 18.4 percent, and its key demographic rating was down a significant 38.1 percent. It is important to note that this year’s numbers do not include the audience watching the live simulcast on the Max streaming service, which likely accounts for a portion of the year-over-year decline in the younger demographic.
