Dr. Britt Baker’s AEW Contract Runs Until At Least Fall 2026

AEW

A new report from Fightful Select has provided additional details on the contract status of former AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. The report clarifies the length of her current deal amidst ongoing speculation about her future with All Elite Wrestling, particularly given her extended absence from television. Baker has not appeared on AEW programming since November 2024, leading to some fans wondering if her contract might be nearing its expiration. However, the new information indicates that she is likely to remain with the company for at least another year.

According to the report, Baker’s current contract with AEW will run “at minimum until fall 2026.” This is due to her reportedly re-upping with the company in the fall of 2021 on a five-year deal. The report also notes a significant detail: if Baker’s contract includes an injury clause, similar to what a majority of other AEW talents have, her deal could potentially be extended even further, potentially through 2027. It is currently unknown whether AEW will choose to exercise this injury clause, which would add even more time to her existing contract.

Baker has publicly stated that she is “ready and willing” to return to AEW if they want to use her, and AEW President Tony Khan has affirmed that she is a valuable talent who will be utilized when the time is right.
