Speaking on The F Y’all Podcast with C.T. Fletcher, Joe discussed what he admired most about Bad News Brown’s persona.
“Another guy who I don’t give a shout-out to enough and I really should is Bad News Allen. When you talk about attitude, when you talk about somebody who, for the first time you saw genuine disdain, like he was just disgusted with whoever was standing in front of him. He was very much that guy.”
Bad News Brown, a former Olympic bronze medalist in judo, had a successful career in both the WWF and Stampede Wrestling, where he was known for his surly demeanor and his ability to generate genuine heat from the audience. He passed away in 2007 at the age of 63.
