Three New Matches Added To AEW WrestleDream

AEW

Three new, high-stakes matches have been made official for the upcoming AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view, which takes place on Saturday, October 18, in St. Louis. The new additions to the card were set up during the special “Title Tuesday” edition of AEW Dynamite and include two major championship bouts and a personal grudge match with a massive financial prize on the line. These matches join an already loaded lineup that features two World Championship encounters and a brutal “I Quit” match, making WrestleDream one of the most anticipated events of the year for All Elite Wrestling.

The AEW World Tag Team Championships will be on the line as the reigning champions, Brodido (Brody King and Bandido), will defend against the Don Callis Family duo of Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita. The challengers earned their opportunity by defeating the champions in a non-title Double Jeopardy match on Dynamite. Also added to the card is a match for the AEW TNT Championship, which will see the champion, Kyle Fletcher, defend against his long-time rival, Mark Briscoe. In a personal and high-stakes grudge match, the reunited Jurassic Express (Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) will take on The Young Bucks, with a $500,000 prize on the line.

The updated card for AEW WrestleDream on Saturday, October 18 is below:

  • AEW World Championship Match: “Hangman” Adam Page (champion) vs. Samoa Joe
  • AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Kris Statlander (champion) vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm
  • “I Quit” Match: Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin
  • AEW World Tag Team Championships Match: Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) (champion) vs. Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita
  • $500,000 Match: Jurassic Express (Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) vs. The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson)
  • TNT Championship Match: Kyle Fletcher (champion) vs. Mark Briscoe
