Two World Title Matches Set For AEW Fright Night Collision

AEW

The card for this Saturday’s “Fright Night” episode of AEW Collision has been updated, and it will now feature two major world championship matches from international promotions. The matches were announced during Wednesday’s “Fright Night” edition of Dynamite.

“12 Belts” Mercedes Moné will defend one of her many titles as she puts her CMLL World Women’s Championship on the line against the luchadora Olympia. In the other title bout, ROH World Champion Bandido will defend his championship against Mascara Dorada. This will be Bandido’s first defense of the ROH World Championship on AEW or ROH programming since the Death Before Dishonor event in August, though he did recently defend the title in CMLL.

Also announced for the show, the Don Callis Family’s Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita will be forced to coexist as a tag team when they face the recently and reluctantly reunited team of Max Caster and Anthony Bowens. This match comes after the tensions between Okada and Takeshita cost them their AEW World Tag Team Championship match at WrestleDream.
