Seth Rollins Confirms He Will Be Out Of Action For Six Months

Former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has officially confirmed that he will be out of action for approximately six months after suffering a legitimate shoulder injury. Rollins, who was stripped of his title on Monday Night Raw, made the announcement during a co-hosting appearance on Good Morning Football on the NFL Network. His comments put an end to any speculation that his injury was part of a storyline, as he had previously faked an injury at Money in the Bank in 2025.

Rollins set the record straight in no uncertain terms.

“I wish. I wish I could rip this thing off man but I’m out guy… Six months. My World Championship is gonna be worn by some schmuck. Either Jey Uso or CM Punk. It’s awful. It really is the Halloween scaries, guys, but I’m here…”

Rollins’s injury is believed to have occurred during his Champion vs. Champion match against Cody Rhodes at WWE Super Show-Down: Perth on October 11. He was written off television on the October 13 episode of Raw when his own faction, The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed), brutally attacked him and aligned with Paul Heyman.

With Rollins on the shelf for the foreseeable future, WWE will crown a new World Heavyweight Champion this Saturday, November 1, at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The two men Rollins referred to as “schmucks,” CM Punk and Jey Uso, will go one-on-one for the vacant title.
