A new report from BodySlam.net has revealed that independent wrestler Alejandra Quintanilla, also known as “La Leona,” was backstage at this week’s WWE NXT television tapings. It is not confirmed if she was there for a tryout, a meeting, or a potential debut, but her presence is noteworthy.
Quintanilla is an accomplished star on the independent circuit, holding an impressive 463-day reign as the RCW Women’s Champion, a title she lost in April of this year. Her resume also includes championship reigns as the DFW All-Pro Tag Team Champion and a two-time RCW Phoenix Champion. She was recently ranked #177 on the 2025 PWI Women’s 250 list and has competed for several notable promotions, including Reality of Wrestling, CMLL, and MLW.
