Report: TNA Wrestling In Media Rights Talks With AMC Networks

TNA Wrestling is reportedly exploring new broadcast partners for its next media rights agreement, and AMC Networks has emerged as a potential destination. According to a report from Jon Alba at The Takedown on SI.com, TV industry sources indicate that AMC is showing interest in acquiring TNA’s media rights.

AMC is widely recognized for acclaimed series such as Breaking Bad, Mad Men, and The Walking Dead, but it has never aired professional wrestling. A move to AMC could significantly expand TNA’s reach, as the network is available in roughly 60 million homes, nearly double the 30+ million homes reached by TNA’s current home, AXS TV.

Recent reports have also named A&E and The CW Network as potential suitors. The CW currently airs WWE NXT, while A&E features WWE programming on its “WWE Superstar Sunday” lineup. AMC, meanwhile, is part of the AMC Networks group, which is primarily owned by the James Dolan family, who also oversee Madison Square Garden Sports.

According to sources cited by The Takedown, TNA is expected to announce its new media rights deal by the end of 2025. TNA officials, when contacted, stated that there are no updates at this time.
