The fallout from Full Gear takes center stage this Wednesday, November 26, as AEW Dynamite airs live from Nashville, Tennessee. The show will feature the start of the third annual AEW Continental Classic and a major semifinal match in the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament.
The Continental Classic, a round-robin tournament with strict rules (20-minute time limit, no interference), returns with high stakes. While the full blocks have yet to be revealed, three major names were confirmed during a backstage segment at Full Gear: reigning Unified/Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita, and former TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher. Okada, the defending tournament winner, will look to repeat, while his Don Callis Family stablemates aim to dethrone him.
In the women’s division, the first finalists for the tag team titles will be decided. The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron) will take on The Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart & Skye Blue). The winner will advance to face either the team of Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa or Marina Shafir & Megan Bayne in the finals.
