Stephanie McMahon “Blown Away” By Hall Of Fame Induction News

Stephanie McMahon has opened up about the emotional moment she learned she would be the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026. The news was broken to her live on camera by The Undertaker during the Wrestlepalooza event.

Speaking with Megan Morant, Stephanie detailed the surprise.

“I’m still so blown away. You don’t ever feel worthy, I don’t think, of an accolade like that… Paul Levesque said, ‘We’re going to do an ID shot of you in the crowd,’… The cameraman comes over and says, ‘We’re going to shoot over your shoulder for Taker’s entrance.’… Then, [Taker] said, ‘To be the first…’ When he used the word ‘inducted,’ that’s when I realized. You can see it in the video when it registers across my face. I was blown away.”

She called the induction “the biggest level of achievement in our business” and admitted it is “unfathomable” to her.
