WWE Working On John Cena Retirement Documentary For 2026

John Cena’s final year in WWE will be immortalized on film.

Wrestlevotes Radio reports that WWE is currently producing a documentary focused on Cena’s retirement tour, which concluded last Saturday with his loss to Gunther. Film crews were present at Saturday Night’s Main Event to capture footage for the project.

The documentary is tentatively scheduled for a mid-2026 release, with Peacock rumored as the likely platform. It remains unclear how much of the year-long tour was documented or if the film will focus primarily on his final week.
