Anna Jay’s time in AEW may be winding down, but she isn’t leaving just yet.
A new report from Fightful Select has clarified the timeline regarding Anna Jay’s contract status. While initial beliefs suggested her deal would expire by the start of 2026, the updated report indicates that her contract is set to run until Spring 2026, meaning she remains with the company for at least the next six months.
Despite the longer timeline, sources claim Jay is actively exploring her options and has “connections within WWE and NXT.” Interest in her status reportedly grew after she was left off the card for the first-ever women’s Blood & Guts match, a bout she had hoped to participate in.
Jay has been a staple of AEW’s women’s division since debuting during the pandemic era in April 2020. She last appeared on the November 19 episode of Collision, teaming with Tay Melo in a losing effort against Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne.
