Seth Rollins isn’t shying away from the controversy surrounding WWE’s relationship with Saudi Arabia.
On the Mohr Stories podcast, the WWE Superstar pushed back against critics who label the company’s lucrative deal as taking “blood money.”
“We get paid by America, too. You think there is no blood money there? Come on. Get out of here,” Rollins argued.
Rollins admitted he was initially skeptical of the partnership in 2018 but claimed that witnessing cultural changes firsthand has shifted his perspective.
“We go over there and the change in the culture… has been incredible. When I tell you, we went there for the first time, there were no women on our show… Now, we go there and it’s just like a WWE show. There are a ton of women.”
