Danhausen could be headed to WWE, but not everyone in the company is sold on the idea.
With the AEW star’s contract expected to expire in February 2026, WrestleVotes Live reports that there is a division within WWE regarding his potential signing. While some key figures are advocates for bringing him in, others are “not so keen on him and his talents.”
“I’m sure there’ll be an offer. He’s talented, people like him, he’s over… but I know some people there maybe just don’t get it,” the report stated.
Interestingly, Danhausen has a powerful supporter in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who is reportedly a fan of the comedic wrestler. Danhausen has not appeared on AEW television since Final Battle 2024 and has been largely absent from creative plans for over a year.
