Nikki Bella paid tribute to John Cena—and corrected the fans—during her World Women’s Championship match on Raw.
In a triple threat match against Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez, Bella applied an STF submission on Rodriguez, a move famously used by her ex-fiancé John Cena. The spot prompted “Thank You Cena” chants from the crowd, to which Bella yelled back, “No, thank me!”
Following the match, Bella took to Twitter to clarify the name of the move.
“You all kept wanting a tribute from me geeezz so here ya all go… but… that’s the Fearless Lock,” she wrote.
Despite the homage, Bella was unable to capture the title, as Stephanie Vaquer retained her championship.
