TNA Wrestling has made significant changes to its upcoming Genesis event and its highly anticipated AMC debut.
The promotion announced that the TNA World Championship match between Frankie Kazarian and Mike Santana, originally scheduled for the Genesis pay-per-view, will now headline the premiere episode of Thursday Night Impact on AMC on January 15. Kazarian successfully defended his title against Bear Bronson on the New Year’s Day episode, after which Santana revealed the change.
To bolster the Genesis card on January 17, TNA has added a massive X-Division Championship match. Reigning champion Leon Slater will defend his title in a three-way bout against Cedric Alexander and Moose. Additionally, Mustafa Ali vs. Elijah has been confirmed for the event.
