Michin may be down, but she is far from out.
After being pulled from the remainder of the WWE Holiday Tour due to a shoulder injury, the SmackDown star took to social media to address her status and send a message to her rival, WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill. Wearing a sling, Michin cut a passionate promo vowing to return stronger.
“I may be out, but I am out temporarily. And with all the money and fame and aura…what you don’t have that I do is grit, is the love of this business,” she said. “So Jade, enjoy your vacations and your photo shoots because while I’m getting better, I’m focusing on you and nothing is going to keep me away from that ring and nothing is going to keep me away from you.”
The injury reportedly occurred earlier in the week during a live event, leading Michin to post on Instagram that she had to cut her tour short. On Friday’s SmackDown, Cargill addressed the situation, callously claiming she injured Michin intentionally and that she deserved it. Cargill then crossed paths with Jordynne Grace, sparking rumors about the free agent’s potential future on the main roster.
