Liv Morgan has only just returned to the ring, but WWE reportedly has massive plans for her heading into Las Vegas.
According to a new report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, there is a significant internal push to position the former champion as a “centerpiece” of the women’s division for WrestleMania 42. Morgan recently cleared the final hurdle for her comeback by defeating Lyra Valkyria on the holiday live event tour, shaking off any remaining “ring rust.”
Sources indicate that WWE management wants Morgan featured “prominently” at the biggest show of the year, likely in a high-profile singles match rather than a tag team role. She is currently considered one of the front-runners to win the Women’s Royal Rumble match later this month. Reports also suggest that WWE is intentionally delaying immediate championship plans for her to build toward a major moment at WrestleMania.
