Elayna Black Signs One-Year Deal With TNA Wrestling

Elayna Black, formerly known as Cora Jade in WWE, has officially joined TNA Wrestling.

Black made her surprise debut on the premiere episode of Impact on AMC this past Thursday. She was introduced by Daria Rae (formerly Sonya Deville), who had just been established as a new authority figure on TNA television minutes prior.

According to Fightful Select, Black is now a full member of the active roster. She has reportedly signed a one-year contract that will keep her with the promotion through 2026.

This marks a significant return for the 24-year-old star. Black was a standout in NXT, where she held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships, but was released in May 2025 alongside other talent. Following her release, she briefly worked on the independent circuit before announcing in July that she was taking a sabbatical from the industry to focus on her mental health.

“It’s no longer good for my mental health and I’ll never know if that love for it I once had will return if I don’t step away,” she said at the time. Her appearance on Impact confirms that the break has ended, and she is ready for a fresh start in TNA.
