Triple H Faces Negative Chants During Royal Rumble Post-Show

The fan reception in Saudi Arabia was not universally positive for WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. During the Royal Rumble post-show, Levesque was met with chants of “We want Vince” and “You f*cked up.” Sean Ross Sapp noted on a Fightful Select Q&A that there has been no internal reaction within WWE to the chants calling for Vince McMahon.

This hostile reaction follows a trend of negative crowd responses during post-show media events since the format became permanent at SummerSlam 2025. Sapp observed that the sentiment regarding these incidents is essentially, “Well, Triple H didn’t want to be in a room full of media, and this was what he got instead.”

Vince McMahon resigned as TKO Executive Chairman in January 2024 amid a lawsuit filed by Janel Grant accusing him of sex trafficking and abuse. He is also currently named in a lawsuit by former ring boys alleging negligence regarding sexual abuse by Mel Phillips.
