Former WWE Women’s Champion Bianca Belair has been noticeably absent from active in-ring competition since WrestleMania 41, and her road to recovery appears to be incredibly grueling. “The EST of WWE” recently took to social media to share a candid and painful update regarding the rehabilitation of her severe finger injury.
“It Feels Like I’m Constantly Starting Over”
In a series of videos uploaded to her Instagram account, Belair documented moments from her intensive physical therapy sessions. The footage clearly showed the superstar in significant discomfort, visibly flinching as she worked to regain mobility in her hand.
Belair provided further context alongside a picture of her heavily bandaged finger. “Most days after therapy this is what happens. My finger just stiffens back up,” she wrote, highlighting the frustrating nature of the healing process. “It feels like I’m constantly starting over and everything it’s painful. Every hour I’m trying to move it so eventually it won’t be this way. Also, trying to keep scar tissue from forming again.”
The injury occurred during a spectacular triple threat match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, a bout widely praised as one of the highlights of the weekend. Unfortunately, the physical toll forced Belair onto the shelf for several months. While she made a brief, non-wrestling appearance as a special guest referee at the Evolution 2025 event, she has remained out of action and recently underwent an additional surgery in February 2026 to address the lingering issues.
