The match card for WWE NXT Vengeance Day continues to intensify following a chaotic episode of Tuesday night television. A new match has been officially booked, and a brutal stipulation has been added to an existing rivalry, promising a highly physical premium live event.
Violence Promised in the Women’s Division and a Mafia Grudge
The deeply personal feud between Jaida Parker and Blake Monroe reached a boiling point this week. After a face-to-face segment ended with Parker standing tall, Monroe retaliated later in the broadcast. Emerging near the announcer’s table, Monroe acknowledged that Parker had brought the fight to her, declaring that their ongoing war will finally conclude at Vengeance Day in an unsanctioned Street Fight. The two have been at each other’s throats since last month, with their first encounter ending in a double countout and resulting in a neck injury for Parker. Last week, a returning Parker cost Monroe a crucial Speed tournament match against Thea Hail.
Additionally, the leader of The Family, Tony D’Angelo, has finally secured his chance for retribution. Throughout the show, the DarkState faction relentlessly targeted D’Angelo. Tony D ultimately confronted Dion Lennox in the crowd, ominously stating that “the hunter has become the hunted.” Blaming Lennox for his downfall last year, D’Angelo challenged him to a one-on-one match at Vengeance Day, vowing to complete one of his two primary goals since returning to NXT.
The championship picture also remains murky. After Sol Ruca interrupted the NXT Women’s Championship match between Zaria and Jacy Jayne—laying out both competitors with the Sol Snatcher—General Manager Robert Stone announced he will make a definitive ruling regarding the title at Vengeance Day.
