Charlotte Flair has achieved nearly every milestone available in the world of professional wrestling, and the 14-time world champion is beginning to look toward her future beyond the ring. During a recent interview with Bloomberg Talks, the 39-year-old veteran discussed her desire to transition into a role centered on philanthropy and person-to-person support.
Becoming the “Person I Needed Growing Up”
While she isn’t ready to hang up the boots just yet, Flair is already thinking about her legacy. “I don’t know what my next step is after WWE, but what I do know is I want to help people,” Flair explained. “I want to become the person that I needed growing up, and I felt like investing in self-care for everyone was like the perfect step in that and being their angel investor.” Flair noted that her goal is to help create a “safe space” for others, leveraging her success to mentor and support individuals in the same way she seeks to influence the WWE locker room.
In the immediate future, Flair remains a dominant force on the SmackDown roster. After returning at the 2025 Royal Rumble to face Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania 41, she has recently entered the tag team division alongside Alexa Bliss.
The duo recently secured a major victory over Giulia and Kiana James, officially becoming the number one contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. They are now slated to challenge the new champions, Nia Jax and Lash Legend, for the gold. As she pursues more championship history, Flair is clearly laying the groundwork for a second act focused on leadership and investment in others.
