The performance is particularly impressive given the competitive environment. Dynamite aired head-to-head against a presidential address on multiple network and cable stations and an NBA game on ESPN that finished second on cable with a 0.23 rating. Despite that competition, Dynamite finished sixth for the night on the primetime cable charts.

Compared to the same week in 2025, overall viewership was up 22.9% — marking the ninth week in the last 10 that Dynamite has been up year-over-year in total viewers. The 18-49 demo was down 6.3% versus the same week last year, though that represents the smallest year-over-year demo decline since last August. The episode — which featured Chris Jericho’s surprise return and the MJF-Kenny Omega contract signing — performed 12.3% above the 10-week average in total viewers and 36.4% above average in the 18-49 demo, suggesting major moments continue to drive significant audience engagement for AEW.
