Abyss is back in TNA Wrestling. The TNA Hall of Famer made a surprise return on the April 9 episode of TNA Impact during an Undead Realm segment featuring Tessa Blanchard, Father James Mitchell, Rosemary, Mara Sade, and others. The segment ended on a cliffhanger with Abyss bowing before Mitchell and delivering the line “Forgive me, father, for I have sinned” before cutting to a “To Be Continued” card.
The segment saw Rosemary opening up to Mara Sade about collecting the seven deadly sins, leading her to Allie, before Rosemary sought a favor from Father James Mitchell. Mitchell reminded her that nothing is free in the Undead Realm — and led her to Abyss. The Undead Realm also featured appearances from Victoria Crawford and Mila Moore, with Havok abducting Moore during the segment.
Abyss Currently Works as a WWE Producer While Making His TNA Appearance
The return is notable given that Abyss — real name Chris Park — has been employed as a producer for WWE since 2019. The circumstances of his TNA appearance have not been elaborated on, but his involvement in the Undead Realm sets up what figures to be a significant storyline heading forward on TNA programming.
