AEW‘s April 29 Dynamite has added a third championship match to what is already shaping up to be one of the most stacked episodes in recent memory. Following Hikaru Shida’s challenge on Saturday’s Collision, Tony Khan took to social media to officially confirm that Divine Dominion — Megan Bayne and Lena Kross — will defend the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship against Shida and Kris Statlander this Wednesday night.
The challenge came about after Shida — who recently allied with former AEW Women’s World Champion Statlander — stepped up to the champions on behalf of herself and Statlander. Divine Dominion welcomed the challenge, announcing the match would take place on the Eaglebank Arena show in Fairfax, Virginia.
